The invention relates to a method for placing separate medicaments and/or foodstuffs, such as for example pills or capsules, in a packaging, the separate medicaments and/or foodstuffs being supplied to a packaging, such as for example a bottle, a pot, a bag or a blister pack, via a feed tube which is provided with a dispensing opening; according to the invention, an inert gas is also delivered in the direction of the dispensing opening via the feed tube. The invention also relates to a device for use in the method according to the invention.
