<p>A thin film transistor array substrate and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to prevent the light leakage in a link area by forming a light-shielding pattern for shielding the light leaking between adjacent link lines at the link area. A thin film transistor array substrate comprises signal lines(DL,GL) for supplying driving signals including data voltage and scan voltage therethrough, and a lower substrate on which pad terminals(DP,GP) are connected to the signal lines to supply the driving signals therethrough. The thin film transistor array substrate further comprises link lines formed between the signal lines and the pad terminals. A light leaking between adjacent link lines is shield by a light-shielding pattern, which is formed between the link lines and an insulating layer. The light-shielding pattern is formed of the same metal as the data lines at a link region outside an effective pixel array region(P). The light-shielding pattern is formed between the adjacent link lines. The light-shielding pattern overlaps a substrate with the insulating layer therebetween so as to improve the stability of an LCD panel-manufacturing process and prevent signal delay due to increase of parasitic capacitance.</p> |
