VOICE COIL MOTORS AND MAGNETIC CIRCUITS THEREFOR

A voice coil motor and a magnetic circuit therefor are provided to secure torque by arranging bar type magnets in an angle array. A voice coil motor is formed by positioning a pair of magnetic yokes to face each other, positioning a magnet(2a) on at least one magnetic yoke(1a) to face the other magnetic yoke, and positioning a movable coil(3) between the magnet and the other magnetic yoke. Two magnets formed in a rectangular prism or parallelepiped prism shape are arranged in an angle array so that magnetic poles of the magnets are alternately arranged.
