A rafter type pillar base for a rafter is provided to prevent the distortion of wood and the separation of a pillar, and to form a roof strongly by fixing the bottom of propping wood of a rafter which raises a rafter for modeling. A rafter type pillar base for a rafter is fixed to a rafter(3) which raises a pillar(11) nailed after installing propping wood longitudinally and descending a rafter(8) fixed with the existing rafter on the upper part and fixing a girder with a nail. The rafter type pillar base for a rafter is used to prevent a pillar from separating and getting distorted when drying wood by installing a rafter type support capable of fixing the bottom of a pillar supporting a rafter raised when raising a roof when remodeling a roof, and fixing the bottom of a pillar for a rafter, and to fix a rafter more strongly by installing a pillar obliquely, not perpendicularly and having a triangular truss type structure.
