A method for acquiring an X-ray image is provided to acquire the X-ray images displaying hard and soft tissues of a patient head through once X-ray irradiation. A method for acquiring an X-ray image includes the steps of: irradiating an X-ray to a patient's head(110); sensing the X-ray irradiated to the patient's head by a sensor and generating a signal(120); setting at least two gains to process the signal transmitted from the sensor, processing the signal transmitted from the sensor according to the set two gains, and transmitting the processed signals(130); synthesizing at least two processed signals and transmitting the synthesized signal(140); and displaying the synthesized signal and the processed signals as the X-ray images(150).
