<p>The method involves injecting a cleaning fluid into a flow channel. Injection pressure of the cleaning fluid is adjusted based on conditions obtained in the flow channel outside a turbine. A measured variable characterizing the conditions is measured, and a value for the injection pressure of the fluid is determined from the measured variable. The cleaning fluid is injected with the determined injection pressure into the flow channel. The injection pressure of the fluid is controlled by a cleaning controller.</p>
