<p>The invention relates to a device for processing backwashed fluid from a backwash filter, said fluid containing solids. The aim of the invention is to improve said device which comprises a sedimentation device for removing solids from the backwashed fluid by sedimentation in a sediment collection area (178) in such a manner as to allow the removal of solids without the help of filter aids and with as little loss of liquid as possible. For this purpose, the sedimentation device comprises a sluice element (172) via which the sediment collection area (178) can be connected to a sedimentation container (140) during a sedimentation phase and via which it can be disconnected from the sedimentation container (140) and evacuated during a removal phase.</p> |
