A speaker is provided to lengthen a diameter of a sound generation unit having an edge and improve a reproducing performance in an intermediate frequency band and a low frequency band by forming a coupling protrusion to a horizontal flange of a frame, and coupling an inner plane of a curved surface of the edge to the coupling protrusion. A speaker includes a frame(110), a sound generation unit(130), a magnetic circuit unit(120), and a voice coil(140). The frame has a horizontal flange of a ring shape, a receiving unit and a coupling protrusion. The receiving unit is formed to be downwardly extended from an inner circumference plane of the horizontal flange. The coupling protrusion is protrusively formed on an edge of the horizontal flange. The sound generation unit has a curved surface unit, an edge and a vibration plate. The curved surface unit is coupled to a surface of the coupling protrusion toward an outer side of the frame. The edge has a surface plane which is formed to be extended on the other side of the curved surface unit. The vibration plate is coupled to the surface plane. The magnetic circuit unit is coupled to the receiving unit and generates a magnetic force. The voice coil is coupled to the vibration plate, and vibrates the sound generation unit by the magnetic circuit unit. |
