A SOCKET FOR A WEDGE BULB

A socket for a wedge bulb is provided to prevent an elastic contact piece of a connection pin from being bent widely than the limitation of elasticity. A connection pin(30) is connected with an end of an electric wire(1) and inserted into an electric wire lead-in hole, and includes an elastic contact piece(31) formed at one side thereof and being in contact with a connection terminal(122) of a wedge bulb(10) and a stop piece(32) formed at the opposite side of the elastic contact piece and caught to be fixed on an inner side of the electric wire lead-in hole. The elastic contact piece and the stop piece are integrally formed. A fixing pin insertion recess(27) are formed at a depressed portion of an inner side of a bulb insertion hole(21) and open upwardly. A fixing pin(40) is fixed in the fixing pin insertion recess, and includes an elastic fixing piece(41) formed at one side thereof and fixing the wedge bulb while being in contact elastically with a protrusion(121) of the wedge bulb and a stop piece(42) formed at the opposite of the elastic fixing piece and caught to be fixed on an inner side of the fixing pin insertion recess. The elastic fixing piece and the stop piece are integrally formed.
