An automatic dialysis method comprising the steps of storing allowable values for a relative reduction in blood volume (BV) and weight loss (WL), storing allowable values for a rate of relative reduction in blood volume (BV) and dialysis liquid conductivity (CD), and acquiring actual values for the weight loss (WL) and the reduction in blood volume (BV) while computing the rate of weight loss (WLR) and the dialysis liquid conductivity (CD), and correcting the rate of change of the ultrafiltration coefficient (UFR) and the dialysis liquid conductivity (CD) on the basis of the computed values of the rate of weight loss (WLR) and the conductivity (CD).
