FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compositions for non-fouling coatings and polymers to be used in such compositions. Claimed is polymer, which contains quaternary ammonium and/or quaternary phosphonic groups bound with main polymer chain and neutralised with counterions composed of anionic acid residue, which has aliphatic, aromatic or alkaril hydrocarbon group containing six or more atoms of carbon. Claimed is method for obtaining the polymer, application thereof in compositions for non-fouling coating, which contains the claimed polymer. ^ EFFECT: elaboration of polymer binder containing blocked functional groups, capable of being hydrolysed, dissociating or being subjected to exchange under action, and with participation, of substances present in sea water, and being at the same time low-toxic, polymer matrix remaining soluble or dispersible in sea water. ^ 15 cl, 5 ex |
