PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass paste which is inhibited in the sedimentation and separation of frit glass and filler particles and thus forms a good sealing. SOLUTION: The glass paste has a vehicle containing a solvent and a dispersant, and a frit glass and a filler powder that are dispersed in the vehicle, wherein the value S of each of the frit glass and the filler powder calculated according to the formula:S=D<SP>2</SP>×ρ(wherein D exhibits an average particle diameter [μm], andρexhibits a density [g/cm<SP>3</SP>]) is 3,000 or less, or the density of the filler powder is smaller than that of the frit glass.
