PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding method of a lead frame and a connector terminal capable of effectively preventing failures due to welding peel-off between them, even in case a connector terminal with its base layer changed to a nickel-plated one accompanying lead-free tendency is welded to a lead frame. SOLUTION: A part of metal plating applied on the surface of the connector terminal 1 with its surface metal-plated (nickel plating 1b, tin plating 1c) is removed to have a base material 1a of the connector terminal 1 exposed, and then, a removed part 4 where the metal plating of the connector terminal 1 is removed and a surface of the lead frame 2 (42 alloy) are made in contact with each other to weld the connector terminal 1 to the lead frame 2.
