PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface protective film excellent in pressure-sensitive adhesive properties, transparency, rewinding properties and heat resistance. SOLUTION: The surface protective film comprises at least three layers of a surface layer (A), an intermediate layer (B) and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer (X), wherein the surface layer (A) is formed of an ethylenic polymer (a), the intermediate layer (B) is formed of a propylenic polymer composition (b) comprising a propylenic polymer (b-1) and a propylene-ethylene copolymer (b-2), and the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer (X) is formed of a composition comprising an olefinic polymer (c) having 20-100 mol% of anα-olefin having not less than 3 carbon atoms as a constituting component.
