PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composed article comprising a metal and polyphenylene sulfide and showing excellent surface adhesion and to provide its production method. SOLUTION: A composed article comprises a metal and polyphenylene sulfide wherein a polyphenylene sulfide layer is contained in its surface, and a method for producing a composed article comprises introducing a metal article having a polyphenylene sulfide layer on its surface, which is obtained by curing under heating a polyphenylene sulfide oligomer in an injection molding die, and injecting melted polyphenylene sulfide to conduct insert molding.
