PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce electromagnetic disturbance accompanying transmission of a data signal and to improve transmission quality with respect to an electrooptical device such as a liquid crystal device. SOLUTION: The electrooptical device includes an electrooptical panel (100) which performs electrooptical operation, a signal wiring (610) electrically connected to the electrooptical panel, and a driving circuit (800) for driving the electrooptical panel which is electrically connected to an end of the signal wiring different from one end electrically connected to the electrooptical panel and includes a modulating circuit (820) modulating the data signal (Ds) as a digital signal to be supplied to the electrooptical panel by a frequency modulation system.
