PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To repeatedly flush a toilet bowl with a sufficient quantity of water in a short time. SOLUTION: The toilet bowl flushing device comprises a tank 3; a pump 4 for supplying water in the tank to the toilet bowl 5; and a control means 10 which controls drive of the pump in response to an instruction signal for instructing flushing of the toilet bowl. The control means drives the pump, when the instruction signal is inputted in a first state where the water quantity in the tank is a first water quantity, so that a predetermined water quantity flows out of the tank until the water quantity in the tank is reduced to a second water quantity, and allows drive of the pump, when the instruction signal is inputted in a second state where the water quantity in the tank is smaller than the first water quantity, until the water quantity in the tank is reduced to a third water quantity smaller than the second water quantity.
