PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting material which can satisfactorily suppress the change of the luminescence color due to concentration quenching, and furthermore efficiently absorbs the light in the near-ultraviolet region of the range of 350-410 nm which is the light emission region of a high efficiency light-emitting diode or in the blue region of the range of 430-500 nm, and can achieve a high degree of luminous efficiency. SOLUTION: The material which has a polymer of an organosilicon compound having a repeating unit of an oligophenylenevinylene group, a surface active agent, and another light-emitting compound satisfactorily suppresses the change of the luminescence color due to concentration quenching, furthermore efficiently absorbs the light in the near-ultraviolet region of the range of 350-410 nm which is the light emission region of a high efficiency light-emitting diode or in the blue region of the range of 430-500 nm, and can achieve a high degree of luminous efficiency.
