PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide brush bristle material for polishing and a polishing brush, which efficiently performs polishing up to corners of uneven faces on the surfaces of mechanical components, and displays durability and long lasting polishing performance. SOLUTION: This brush bristle material is made of a sea-island structure composite monofilament. An island part of the composite monofilament is made of a mixture of synthetic resin and abrasive particles.
