<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new maintenance liquid for inkjet recording which exhibits excellent detergency even when applied to an inkjet printer in which colorant concentration is high or a pigment ink is used, can be used in a conventional inkjet printer without attacking a member, and is also excellent in anti-foaming properties and an antiseptic and antifungal effect. <P>SOLUTION: The maintenance liquid for inkjet recording comprises water, a plasticizer, and a humectant. It is possible to further improve the detergency of the mainetance liquid by further incorporating, into the maintenance liquid, a penetrant such as a glycol ether, a 1,2-alkyl diol, and an acetylene glycol surfactant. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
