<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which can prevent grazing from occurring on an image thereby improving image quality. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: image forming units 55Bk, 55Y, 55M and 55C equipped with an image carrier, a developer storage part for storing developer and a developer supply part for supplying the developer to the image carrier; a judgment index acquiring processing means for acquiring the operating amount of the image forming units 55Bk, 55Y, 55M and 55C; and an exciting operation processing means for applying vibration to the image forming units 55Bk, 55Y, 55M and 55C based on the operating amount. Since the vibration is applied to the image forming units 55Bk, 55Y, 55M and 55C based on the operating amount of the image forming units 55Bk, 55Y, 55M and 55C, toner is prevented from forming a non-toner space in a cavity state or being flocculated in the image forming units 55Bk, 55Y, 55M and 55C even when a stirring member is rotated at high speed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
