<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain diffused light without using any light guide plates or the like, by using a spot-like light source, namely an LED. <P>SOLUTION: The LED 2 radiates blue, bluish purple or ultraviolet light. A phosphor sheet 4 converts a wavelength to obtain other visible light with light radiated from the LED 2 as stimulating light. Light radiated from the LED 2 and light of which wavelength is converted by the phosphor sheet 4 are applied to a flared mount section 6 (6a) and a mount section 9. Further, light reflected by the mount section 6 (6a) crosses light reflected by the mount section 9. Light radiated from the LED 2 having a different wavelength crosses light of which wavelength is converted by the phosphor sheet 4, thus obtaining desired diffused light. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
