PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inhalation apparatus which allows a user to inhale a liquid formulation as liquid droplets of a certain particle diameter irrespective of working environment. SOLUTION: Flow channel length adjusting means E<SB>1</SB>of the inhalation apparatus includes a flow channel forming member 5 fitted to another flow channel forming member 4a of a mouth piece 4 so that they extend and contract freely in the axial direction. A liquid droplet discharge window 11 for guiding liquid droplets discharged from a discharge head into air flow of the flow channel forming member 5 is formed on the downstream side of an inlet port 5b of the flow channel forming member 5. The distance between the liquid droplet discharge window 11 and an inhalation port (the length of a flow channel) is changed by extending or contracting the flow channel forming members 4a and 5 in the axial direction. The length of the flow channel is determined by a flow channel length determination means that determines the distance between the liquid droplet discharge window and the inhalation port according to working environment.
