<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal wood club or a driver club which has an efficient shape that meets all of size limits of USGA and increases a rotational moment of inertia in both the vertical and horizontal axes. <P>SOLUTION: A club head 10 is provided with a truncated triangular or trapezoidal crown 12, and a skirt/side thereof is tapered from a hitting face 14 to a rear part 16.
