PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indicating instrument capable of transmitting light for clearly discriminating a scale. SOLUTION: An indicating instrument has a pointer board comprising: an inside pointer board 22; an outside pointer board 24; a scale number (index) 36; and scale parts 48, 50, and 54. The scale parts 48, 50 and 54 are formed from the reverse face of a pointer board plate 42, extended toward the outer circumference edge 56 of the pointer board plate 42 in the outer radial direction, turned around the outer circumference edge 56 of the pointer board 42, and continued to the surface of the pointer board plate 42.
