PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide variable timing device capable of verifying the cause of the mismatching operations of two or more phenomena caused by the same signal. SOLUTION: An apparatus 15 to be tested is operated or not operated when a fault signal or a state change signal continues for a predetermined time. A time setting circuit 12 sets the predetermined time of electric information for test applied to the apparatus to be tested and a time display circuit 13 displays the predetermined time set in the time setting circuit for verification. When the operation starting switch 20 for an operation verification test is operated, an output circuit 14 applies the electric information for test from a power supply unit 16 to the apparatus 15 to be tested in the predetermined time set in the time setting circuit 12.
