PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bypass capacitor which can obtain low impedance uniformly over a wide band. SOLUTION: The bypass capacitor has two external electrodes 2, 3, wherein a plurality of sheets of an internal electrode 4 having a conduction to the one external electrode 2 and a plurality of sheets of an internal electrode 5 having the conduction to another external electrode 3 are superposed alternately without contact, the areas of these internal electrodes 4, 5 are different in order of the superposition.
