PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recording device where a recording medium, having reliability and a cost being mostly suitable for use, can be used. SOLUTION: The information recording device has a file management part 5 performing recording, by using a sector corresponding to data of fixed quantity as an unit and classifying information signals recorded in a recording medium 101 into groups of two or more depending on the level of importance; and a recording and playback part 6 performing recording processing that is different for each group for the recording medium 101, performing collation of the information signals recorded in the recording medium 101 for the information signals of which the importance is high, and performing recording for the other sectors, when a defective sector is detected.
