<p>The controller has a housing with an inlet connection connected with a source, and an outlet connection connected with a pressure-operated device. A valve body cooperates with the housing to provide fluid flow between the inlet and outlet connections. An actuator is provided for moving the valve body in accordance with a reference, which is received from a processor. An observer determines a model value based on the reference. The controller provides gradients of the reference and scales the threshold value due to the gradients. An independent claim is also included for an error detection method for a fluid controller.</p> |
