The method involves allowing the acquisition of codes for decoding digitally encoded contents and its associated license, by one or more network subscribers. A user requiring the license is acquired by selecting one or more network subscribers providing the referred license. A network terminal (1) of the selected network subscribers is requested for the completion of a license purchase procedure without the distribution of license. A greater network instance determines the source provider of contents using meta information and requests its terminal for the distribution of license and codes. An independent claim is also included for a network structure for executing a method for distributing the digitally encoded contents.
