A tool holder is provided to make a length of a protrusion unit shorter than using a key and to eliminate need of installing a C ring by making a length of a groove unit as a sliding length and by installing a restricting unit to grasp a protrusion unit. A tool holder, consisting of a holder body(10) including a shank unit(12) with an outer periphery inserted to a taper hole of a spindle axle at a base end, a protrusion unit(20) of a cylindrical shape connected from an outside to be slid to an axial direction in the holder body, and a pressing unit(40) pressing the protrusion unit to the base end, further comprises the followings: more than one screw hole(23) formed penetrating a side of the protrusion unit; more than one groove unit formed at a surface contacting the protrusion unit in the holder body, to correspond to the screw hole and extended to the axial direction; and a restricting unit(30) screw connected to the screw hole, formed with the same diameter as a width of the groove unit at a front end, and connected with the groove unit to be slid.
