PEOPLE COUNTING SYSTEM

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To count people who stay in a building or room.

SOLUTION: A people detection means can acquire distance information from image data from an imaging means comprising a plurality of cameras installed above a doorway to detect people independently of distance information of shadows on the floor and distance information of people. A people counting means tracks the detected people's movements to detect their movement directions and count the people. A staying people counting means can accurately count staying people.
