<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve practicability of a calling device such as hands-free phone connected to a cellular phone by suppressing the power consumption thereof. <P>SOLUTION: A reception circuit 37 (detection circuit) for receiving radio waves emitted from a cellular phone 2 is provided on the calling device 3 such as a hands-free phone to be connected to a cellular phone 2 and having a microprocessor 34 and a DSP 36 for digital signal processing such as echo cancellation by driving of a battery 40. If detection output from a reception circuit 37 is not detected, the microprocessor 34 or the DSP 36 operates at a power saving mode and if the detection output from the reception circuit 37 is detected when the microprocessor 34 or the DSP 36 is operating in the power saving mode, the microprocessor 34 stops the power saving mode and operates in a usual mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
