<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical head which can compensate spherical aberration by using a curvature variable mirror and an optical disk drive which mounts the same. <P>SOLUTION: The optical head comprises a laser light source for emitting a light beam, an objective lens for condensing the light beam on the optical disk, a PD for detecting information on the optical disk from a light beam reflected on the optical disk, and at least two curvature variable mirrors which have a function of reflecting the light beam in the opposite direction of the light beam and a function of transforming the reflected light beam to a preset illuminating angle. When a light path in which the light beam illuminated from the laser light source reaches the objective lens is represented by a first light path, and a path in which the light beam reflected from the optical disk reaches the PD is represented by a second light path, the curvature variable mirrors are placed in the first and the second light paths at least one for each path. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
