COMMUNICATION DEVICE, COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING TRANSMISSION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an increase in a double retransmission and a noncommunicative state even when a transmission delay is changed suddenly in a data transmission.

SOLUTION: A server 400 has a TCP transmitting-receiving section 404 transmitting data to a client terminal 100 through communication networks 1 and 2 while receiving a confirmation response transmitted from the client terminal 100 in response to the data transmission and a transmission-delay measuring section 405 for measuring the time up to the reception of the confirmation response after transmitting the data as the transmission delay. The server 400 further has a retransmission control section 406 for detecting no reception of the confirmation response in a retransmission-timer value after transmitting the data and controlling the retransmission of data and a retransmission-timer value computing section 409 for computing and updating the retransmission-timer value on the basis of a separating state between the set retransmission-timer value and the measured transmission delay.
