PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforced thermoplastic polyester resin composition, which has excellent moldability and gives molded articles with excellent mechanical characteristics, appearance and electric characteristics, and also to provide an inset molded article with excellent heat shock resistance which is made of the reinforced resin composition. SOLUTION: The reinforced thermoplastic polyester resin composition comprises (A) 100 pts.wt. of a thermoplastic polyester resin, (B) 1-30 pts.wt. of a specific unmodified hydrogenated block copolymer and/or a modified hydrogenated block copolymer, (C) 10-200 pts.wt. of a specific fiber reinforcing material and (D) 0-3 pts.wt. of an epoxy compound.
