<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underground pipe replacing apparatus which prevents water in the ground from infiltrating into a new pipe. <P>SOLUTION: According to the structure of the underground pipe replacing apparatus, the interior of an adapter ring 48 of a trunk portion 14 connected to a head 12 is blocked with a blocking plate 56, and a mounting unit 84 is fixed to a rim of a cable insertion hole 76 of the blocking plate 56 via a water cutoff packing 82. Then, cables 52, 54 inserted into the cable insertion hole 76 via the mounting unit 84, are slidably supported by the mounting unit 84. Thus even if water infiltrates into the head 12, the water is prevented from infiltrating into the new pipe 18 via the adapter ring 50. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
