<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt retractor capable of operating again after a limited force phase, in which a reversible belt tensioner unit is surely separated from a belt reel, following the state of tension caused by an irreversible belt tensioner unit. <P>SOLUTION: The belt retractor 1 for a safety belt system is equipped with the belt reel 4 which is rotatably attached within a frame 2 so as to receive a belt web, the reversible belt tensioner unit with a motor 8, the irreversible belt tensioner unit, and a coupling mechanism for connecting the belt reel 4 with the reversible belt tensioner unit. When the reversible belt tensioner unit is started, the coupling mechanism is not operated, and the coupling mechanism is operated again after tensioning of the irreversible belt is stopped. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
