PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide obstacle avoidance guidance enabling a pilot to easily recognize potential obstacles based on improved data from a collision avoidance system, and to provide a display generator for providing the pilot with obstacle avoidance guidance. SOLUTION: The display generator receives data from an obstacle avoidance dispatcher and resolver module 20, a hybrid ground collision avoidance module 30, a hybrid air collision avoidance module 40, a display control panel 50 and a navigation management module 70. The display generator generates obstacle avoidance display image video data including symbology that represents a location of one of a predicted ground collision, a predicted air collision and an induced collision. The display generator provides an image rendering device 80 with the obstacle avoidance display image video data which the pilot can use to avoid both air and ground obstacles.
