PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for testing test plug, provided with such versatility as to adapt to various test modes and capable of reliably testing test plugs in a short time. SOLUTION: The apparatus 100 for electrically testing test plugs 14 for CT or PT is provided with: a plurality of insertion openings 110 in which a plurality of types of test plugs 14 having different shapes can be each inserted; a plug changeover switch 112 for exclusively selecting test plugs 14 to be tested; a mode changeover switch 120 for selecting test mode from among total contact-opening test, primary-contact total short-circuit test, and primary- and secondary-contact short-circuit test; and a result display part 122 for displaying test results of selected objects to be tested in selected test mode.
