PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveyer device capable of preventing articles from being displaced backward when making the articles bifurcated. SOLUTION: A large number of slat bodies are connected in an endless shape to form a conveyance passage A of the articles W. The conveyer device can make the articles bifurcated to a bifurcating passage B by an article horizontally-pushing body 19 movable in the width direction of the conveyance passage at each slat body 18. bifurcating guide rails 54, 55 for moving the article horizontally-pushing body in the width direction via a shaft part which is a guided part for direction switching are arranged on the downstream side and the upstream side of a bifurcating position in parallel with each other. A passage switching device is arranged at the bifurcating position so as to guide the article horizontally-pushing body to either a conveyance guide rail 53 or the bifurcating guide rails. The article horizontally-pushing body 19 is guided by the bifurcating guide rail 54 on the downstream side to push a side face of the article W and the article horizontally-pushing body 19 is guided by the bifurcating guide rail 55 on the upstream side to hold a rear end face of the article W.
