PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheet conveying device having a driven roller in which any stripe generated during the punching is not formed on a conveying surface of a paper sheet. SOLUTION: A driven roller 40 is formed in a truncated conical shape, and a large diameter circumferential edge 41 and a small diameter circumferential edge 42 with roundness are formed on both sides of the axial direction, and a conveying surface 43 in a circumferential surface of a truncated conical shape is formed between the circumferential edges. Since the driven roller 40 has such an outer shape, the maximum outside diameter is formed at the position indicated by a one-dot-chain line P-P of the large diameter circumferential edge 41. A stripe is formed in the large diameter circumferential edge 41 if the position is set to be a boundary of the die when performing the die forming. Thus, the conveying surface 43 can be finished in a smooth circumferential surface without any stripe generated during the die punching. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
