PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejection head and a liquid ejector in which electrolysis of liquid resulting from adhesion of conductive foreign matter can be prevented. SOLUTION: An insulating material 60 is bonded to the tip side part of an oscillator base material, and then the oscillator base material is divided into individual piezoelectric oscillators 15 thus forming an oscillator unit 16. Under a state where the oscillator unit is contained in the containing chamber 53 of a head case 18 and the distal end face of a free end portion 15a is butted against the surface at the island 49 of a diaphragm 47, the insulating material is interposed as an insulating portion 59 between the island 49 and the distal end face at the free end portion of the piezoelectric oscillators 15 thus insulating the island 49 and the piezoelectric oscillators 15 electrically.
