The invention relates to a power generation system based on the density differential between streams of water, including a noria of floats (1) mounted to a chain (3) which enables the floats to move cyclically, including two adjacent vertical float sections (1', 1"). The first section (1') is housed inside a tube (8) topped by a funnel (11), through which a stream of fresh water flows, while the second float section (1") is submerged in the sea. The difference between the densities of the fresh water and the salt water generates thrusts of different magnitudes on each of the float sections (1', 1"), thereby producing a cyclical movement and generating a mechanical energy which is transmitted through one of the toothed crowns or pinions (4) of the chain to an electric power generator (7).
|
