A lenticular lens, which can display a three-dimensional image with a high resolution and a wide viewing angle, has required high refraction index glass. A lenticular lens made of glass is high in manufacturing costs and is possible to be broken. An array-like convex lens unit is formed on a transparent plate and n2>n1 in the case where n1 is the refraction index of the transparent plate and n2 is the refraction index of the convex lens unit. The high refraction index convex lens unit is made of a fine particle dispersed resin. Because the resin is used for the convex lens unit, manufacturing costs are low and the resin is not easily broken. Further, even if light scattering is caused by the fine particles in the resin, only the convex lens unit is made of the high refraction index resin, so that the reduction of transmittance is prevented. In addition, a transparent plate is provided opposite to a metallic mold forming a lens array, a high refraction index ultraviolet curing resin is inserted between the transparent plate and the metallic mold, and the high refraction index ultraviolet curing resin is hardened by irradiating ultraviolet rays. This manufacturing method can manufacture the lenticular lens with the convex lens unit of the high refraction index at low costs.
