PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a hybrid car from running in a state extremely different from the intention of a driver when the driver of the hybrid car turns on both an EV switch and a cruise switch.

SOLUTION: An ECU runs a program including a step (S100) for detecting the ON/OFF of an EV switch 406; a step (S102) for detecting the ON/OFF of a cruise switch 408; a step (S104) for determining whether or not the both the EV switch and the cruise switch are turned ON; a step (S106) for, when the both of them are turned ON, inhibiting the transmission of an EV running control command to an inverter 240 and an engine ECU 280; and a step (S108) for transmitting the cruise running control command.
