<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device capable of efficiently cooling a light emitting part and preventing the upper temperature of a light emitting tube, particularly, from rising more than necessary. <P>SOLUTION: Since a straightening vane 7a is arranged in an area outside an effective optical path at the periphery part of a first sealing part 13, cooling air which passes through the first sealing part 13 along a reflector 2 and does not blow off the light emitting part 11 is guided to roll in to the upper half side of the reflector 2 to form an air current AC even on the upside of the light emitting part 11 of the light emitting tube 1, whereby the upside of the light emitting part 11 is more efficiently cooled while restraining the downside of the light emitting part 11 from being cooled. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
