<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst carrier body having a dust-proof property to which soot and dust hardly adhere and which enables easy removal of soot and dust by slight impulse or the like even when they have adhere to it. <P>SOLUTION: The catalyst carrier body comprises a substrate of which the surface is made of resin, and a catalyst fine particle layer comprising a silane monomer having an unsaturated bond part and catalyst fine particles, and fixed to the substrate by a chemical bond between the unsaturated bond part and the resin on the surface of the substrate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
