PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain a drift of a vehicle and improve a linear traveling property by increasing a residual cornering force in a required direction of a pneumatic tire. SOLUTION: A tread 2 of this pneumatic tire 1 is blocked into land trains 30, 31, 32 by main grooves 20, 21 extending in a tire peripheral direction. Also, a plurality of lug grooves 40, 41 are formed on an intermediate land train 31 sandwiching a tire equatorial plane CL and a shoulder land train 32 including a tire ground end ST, so as to block the land trains 31, 32 into blocks 31B, 32B. The lug groove 41 of the shoulder land train 32 is inclined in a same direction as reinforcing elements aligned on an outermost belt layer in a tire radial direction relative to a tire peripheral direction, and the lug groove 40 of the intermediate land train 31 is inclined in a direction opposite to the reinforcing elements of the outermost belt layer relative to the tire peripheral direction.
