PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ink discharge printing equipment, for manufacturing printed matter by discharging a colored ink, which can eliminate a clogging simply and rapidly, when an ink discharge fails due to the clogging of a nozzle hole at a discharge part, following the generation of a foreign substance by the drying of the colored ink containing an alkali-soluble resin, and to provide a cleaning method of the ink discharge printing equipment. SOLUTION: This ink discharge printing equipment can refresh a malfunctioning discharge part by passing an alkaline cleaning solution through the nozzle hole of the discharge part which fails and thereby, eliminating the clogging of a blocked nozzle hole.
